If crew member must transport themselves from one worksite to another.

$25 per crew member

Public Holiday Penalty Rates

The following days are charged at double time:

  • Christmas Eve – 24 Dec
  • Christmas Day – 25 Dec
  • New Year’s Eve - 31 Dec
  • New Year’s Day – 1 Jan
  • Australia Day - 26 Jan

All other public holidays are charged at 1.5x (unless otherwise negotiated before the job commences).

Please note: 
  • Double time is the maximum charge no matter how long a shift on a public holiday is. This means that we don’t charge a penalty rate on a penalty rate for a very long shift.
  • A very long 1.5x shift can, however, become a double time shift based on whether the double time penalty time occurs  as per the last columns Tables A and B above.
